General

How can I complete an activity?

You can complete an activity in three ways:

  • Tap the activity card on the home screen, then tap the Checkmark button on the detail page.

  • Swipe left on the activity card on the home screen. (You can customize this swipe action in the settings)

  • Long press on the activity card on the home screen, then tap “Mark as done”.

How can I complete an activity with a specific time?

You can do this in several ways:

  • Tap the activity card on the home screen, then tap the clock button on the detail page to set the time and complete.

  • Configure swipes in the settings to complete with time, then swipe on the activity card.

Can I add a note when I complete an activity?

Yes! When you create an activity, you can enable the notes feature. You can also edit an existing activity to enable this feature.

In the activity editor screen, scroll down to the “Notes” section and enable the “Notes Enabled” option.

When this option is enabled, you will be prompted to add a note when you complete the activity.

You can edit notes by tapping on any completion in the activity detail screen.

How can I reorder my activities?

You can reorder activities in two ways:

  • Long press on the activity you want to move, then drag it to the desired position.
  • Use the “Sort” button in the top right corner of the activities list to sort them by last completion date or name.

How can I track the specific time I completed an activity?

By default, activities track only the date of completion, not the time.

If you want to track the time, enable the “Add Time” option in the editor screen for the activity.

How can I set notifications for my activities?

On the editor screen for your activities (either when creating a new one or editing an existing one), you can set a reminder notification by tapping “Add Alert”.

You can have multiple notifications for the same activity.

Notifications are sent after a certain amount of time has passed since the last completion of the activity. You can also set the specific time of day when the notification should be sent by tapping the clock button.

How can I set a goal for my activities?

On the editor screen for your activities (either when creating or editing an existing one), you can set a goal by tapping “Add Goal”.

Goals are set in terms of completing the activity a minimum or maximum number of times within a certain period.

How can I delete an activity?

Long press on an activity and select “Delete”. You will need to confirm deletion before it is removed.

You can also add a swipe action to delete activities in the settings.

How can I reset an activity’s data?

In Settings > Data, you can reset one activity’s data. This won’t delete the activity but will remove all its completions.

I made a mistake, how can I undo it?

If you accidentally marked an activity as done, you can undo it by tapping the undo button that appears in the notification at the top of the screen.

If you need to change the time or notes of a completion, you can go to the activity detail screen and tap on the completion you want to edit.

T-Rex Club Membership

How can I share my T-Rex Club Membership with my family?

You can share your T-Rex Club Membership with family members by using the Family Sharing feature on the App Store.

To set up Family Sharing, follow the instructions on the Apple Support page.

From your family members’ devices, tap “Restore” on the T-Rex Club Membership screen to activate the membership if it’s not activated automatically.

How can I switch from a subscription to a lifetime Membership?

If you have a subscription plan and want to switch to a lifetime membership, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Settings screen and tap on the T-Rex Club Membership card at the top.
  2. In the screen, tap on the Lifetime plan.

Data & Privacy

Can I import my data from other apps?

You can import data in the same JSON format that we export.

We are working on adding support for importing data from other popular apps. If there’s a specific app you’d like us to support, let us know at support@longago.app.

Can I export my data?

Yes.

You can export your data from the app settings page: Settings > Data. Your data will be exported in JSON format.

How can I delete my data?

You can reset all your data from the app settings page: Settings > Data. This action is irreversible. This will remove all tracking history.

To remove individual activities, you must delete them one by one.

What data does Long Ago collect? Can you see my data?

Long Ago does not track you or collect any data about your activities. All data is stored only on your device and iCloud account. We cannot see your tracked activities or any identifiable information.
